It remains to be seen what Palermo’s failure to register for next season’s Serie B will mean for George Puscas’s future at the club Turin based newspaper Tuttosport details.

The Romanian youngster joined the Rosanero on loan with an obligation to buy set a €3.2 last Summer from Inter but financial difficulties have resulted in Palermo being unable to obtain a licence to play in Italy’s second tier.

Inter have already received €500,000 but the financial problems have cast doubt over Palermo’s future entirely and they could well be forced to default on the remaining €2.7 million for Puscas.

If this is to happen, it means that Inter will be able to move Puscas, who has made seven first team appearances for the club, elsewhere.

The report goes on state that Romanian powerhouses Steaua Bucharest have shown an interest in taking the 23-year-old, who scored nine goals and tallied three assists in 33 appearances last season.
