Antonio Conte wants Ivan Perisic to be part of his revolution at Inter having recently taken over the managerial reigns from Luciano Spalletti according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

Prior to Conte’s arrival on a three-year contract, Perisic’s Inter future looked to be up in the air but now it looks as if he will play a key part in former Chelsea manager Conte’s plans at the Nerazzurri.

There has been little in the way of transfer interest in him recently although Chinese outfit Shanghai Shenua, the same club who have made an approach for Roma’s Stephan El Sharaawy, did show an interest but Perisic was not interested.

Conte has visions of Perisic playing as a wing back in the 3-5-2 system he intends to deploy his Inter in. He is hopeful that Perisic may be able to get back to his best with the role change.

This past season, the Croatian international made 45 appearances across all competitions scoring nine goals and tallied eight assists.
