Top football agent Dario Canovi has stressed that Inter have to find a solution to the long-running Mauro Icardi controversy.
Relations between Inter, Icardi and his representatives broke down significantly during the season for a number of reasons and Inter are looking to rid themselves of the 26-year-old Argentine striker.
Icardi and his representatives, namely his outspoken wife/agent Wanda Icardi, however seemingly have no intention of departing the Nerazzurri.
Various reports circulating at the moment suggest that Inter have yet to receive any offers for Icardi, whose value has plummeted due to the controversy in recent months.
“Inter and Juve will do great things this season. Antonio Conte is a guarantee for the Nerazzurri, but Inter still has gaps, which they will probably fill over time,” Canovi began an interview with Tutto Mercato Web.
“Then there is the Mauro Icardi problem. Beppe Marotta will need to find an agreement with Juventus or it will be a big problem.”
He concluded: “Inter will have to find a solution.”
