With Lucien Agoume seemingly close to completing a move to Inter from FC Sochaux, Gazzetta dello Sport have given a brief profile of the 17-year-old highly rated starlet.

Inter have reportedly beaten no less than 20 teams to his signature including the likes of Juventus, Manchester United and Barcelona and will pay around €4.5 for him.

“Standing at one metre 85 centimetres tall, he has good technique, good vision and has 15 first team appearances with Sochaux in the French second division. Having only turned 17 back in February, Agoume is similar to Paul Pogba,” the report from the Milan based news outlet begins.

“He joined Sochaux back in 2014 and has always played above his age group and in October he became the youngest first team debutante as he made his first league appearances aged just 16 years, 10 months and eight days.

“In January he was recognised as Sochaux’s player of the month and nine of his 15 appearances last season came as a starter.”

It concludes: “In addition to his solid aforementioned qualities, he also has it in himself to get into the opposition box.”
