Romelu Lukaku is excited by the prospect of playing under Antonio Conte at Inter but must remain patient as Inter continue to seek a deal with Manchester United according to a report from Tuttosport.

Inter, as per various reports, have submitted an offer to take the Belgian striker on a two-year loan deal with a €60 million obligation to buy attached.

This offer is understood to have been knocked back by the Premier League outfit who are holding out for more cash for the 26-year-old who they shelled some €85 million out for just two years ago.

The report from the Turin based news outlet goes on to state that Conte, who was recently appointed by the club on a three-year contract, is hoping to pair Lukaku with Edin Dzeko.

Inter remain in talks with Roma over the Bosnian veteran who will bring a wealth of Serie A experience to the Inter attack.
