Diego Godin greeted his new supporters at Inter by starring in a short video put together by the club’s in-house media team.
The Uruguayan defender was officially announced as the Nerazzurri’s first summer signing early this morning, signing a three-year deal.
The video saw Godin discussing the essence of being Uruguayan, before the 33-year-old invited supporters to cheer him on at San Siro.
“What it means to be a Uruguayan can’t be expressed in a short video,” Godin said.
“If I had to explain what makes up the Uruguayan soul I need to come to you, on the pitch. I’m Diego and now you’ll see.”
