Inter, Juventus and Roma reached a combined total of €150 million in ‘capital gains’ last month, according to Corriere dello Sport.
All three clubs needed to raise the money to ensure they respected UEFA’s Financial Fair Play regulations, with the 2018-19 financial season ending on Sunday.
Inter recouped €31 million just from selling 2017 Primavera champions Andrea Pinamonti and Zinho Vanheusden, but the Nerazzurri also completed several other deals.
Marco Sala joined Sassuolo as part of Inter’s deal for Stefano Sensi while Andrea Adorante moved to Parma.
Inter were chasing a big sum of money before yesterday’s deadline but they received a helping hand from Luciano Spalletti’s former assistant Giovanni Martusciello.
Martusciello rescinded his contract last week so he could become Maurizio Sarri’s new right-hand man at Juventus, saving the club €1.4 million.
Inter can now focus their attention on bringing players into the club with new head coach Antonio Conte due to begin preseason training on 8 July.
