Inter have made contact with Bologna midfielder Erick Pulgar’s agent as they consider a move for the Chilean international, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

The midfielder is attracting interest from several top clubs in Italy after impressing with his performances at this summer’s Copa America.

Pulgar has a €12 million release clause in his contract and Bologna president Joey Saputo is concerned he will be unable to tie him down to a new deal.

Juventus, Milan, Napoli and Roma are also sniffing around the 25-year-old, who could receive a phone call from the Rossoblu’s boss Sinisa Mihajlovic soon.

Fernando Felicevich has received phone calls from Inter, Napoli and Roma while Sevilla and Arsenal are also interested in Pulgar abroad.

Pulgar scored six goals and created two assists last season as Bologna completed a miraculous turnaround to avoid relegation and finish 10th in Serie A.

Any eventual decision over the player’s future will be postponed until Chile have finished at the Copa America, where they will play Peru in the semi-finals on Wednesday.
