Inter are ready to raise their offer for Romelu Lukaku when they meet Manchester United for fresh talks, according to reports in Belgium.

The Nerazzurri offered a €10 million loan and an option to buy worth €60 million first time round but Het Laatste Nieuws reported they are open to increasing it.

Antonio Conte wants Lukaku as his main reinforcement up front and Inter are negotiating with United to grant their new head coach’s wish.

The next few days could produce ‘important developments’ as the clubs consider meeting again.

Lukaku arrived at United’s training ground on Monday to begin preparation for the new season, but the Belgian hopes he won’t be spending it at Old Trafford.

The striker described Conte as ‘the best coach in the world’ in an interview with Sport Mediaset last month and has made it clear to his current club he wants Inter.

Conte wants to sign Edin Dzeko from Roma as well but talks have stalled as the clubs battle for Nicolo Barella.
