Inter remain eager to sell or loan out midfielder Radja Nainggolan this summer, Corriere dello Sport confirmed this morning.

Nainggolan completed a medical yesterday ahead of preseason training next week and told reporters he was ready to start the new campaign.

The Belgian is not part of Antonio Conte’s plans going forward, though, despite his attempts to sign him while he was in charge of Juventus and Chelsea.

Luciano Spalletti wanted Nainggolan at all costs last summer but the 30-year-old disappointed in an eventful debut campaign.

Inter will begin a summer training camp in Lugano on Monday and had hoped both Nainggolan and Mauro Icardi would have left the club before then.

It now seems almost certain both will be training under Conte in preseason, however, creating an uncomfortable situation for the new boss to manage.

Nainggolan scored seven goals for Inter last year amid disciplinary issues and fitness concerns.
