Diego Godin told Inter Media House’s team yesterday the Nerazzurri are ‘very well known’ in Uruguay because of Alvaro Recoba’s spell there.

The defender starred in an exciting welcome video on the club’s social media profiles on Monday after joining on a free transfer.

Inter released backstage footage from filming earlier which showed Godin putting on his new black-and-blue shirt for the first time.

The 33-year-old then told a cameraman El Chino was responsible for Inter’s popularity in his home country.
