Inter’s chief executive Beppe Marotta will help the Lega Serie A create reforms for women’s football and ‘B’ teams in Italy, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

Marotta has been appointed to two separate select committees which he will sit on alongside his duties with the Nerazzurri.

Inter will have an official women’s team for the first time next season after their unofficial sister club were promoted from the second tier earlier this year.

The club rejected the opportunity to set up a ‘B’ team last summer when the FIGC unveiled their program, which has since been downscaled.

Marotta will have a busy few months ahead as Inter begin preparation for the 2019-20 season under new boss Antonio Conte.

Preseason training begins next week but the Nerazzurri have a lot of transfer targets still to secure, such as Romelu Lukaku and Edin Dzeko.

Valentino Lazaro, Diego Godin and Stefano Sensi all had their arrivals confirmed earlier this week.
