Inter striker George Puscas has been named in UEFA’s Team of the Tournament at the European Under-21 Championships.
The 23-year-old scored four goals in as many matches for Romania as Mirel Radoi’s side made a surprising run to the semi-finals.
Puscas netted twice in a 4-2 defeat to Germany in the last four, which was still level heading into the 90th minute.
He is the only player outside Germany and tournament winners Spain to be included in the UEFA XI.
Inter need to find a new club for Puscas this summer after Palermo defaulted on a €3 million payment to sign him permanently.
The Rosanero had an obligation to buy him before 30 June but are on the verge of bankruptcy after failing to register for Serie B.
Puscas scored nine goals in Sicily last season as they finished third in Italy’s second tier, before a points deduction saw them excluded from the playoffs.
