After having concluded a 40 minute long meeting with Inter’s directors at the club’s head offices, Federico Pastorello, the agent of Manchester United Belgian international striker Romelu Lukaku, met the gathering press to give an update on the state of the negotiations.

Unfortunately for those waiting for a breakthrough in the negotiations, Pastorello had none to offer stating that there was nothing new to report.

“There are no news, I only stopped by to have a chat with the Inter director to better understand the situation, then we will see what decisions they ultimately make.”

“We don’t decide anything so therefore it is clear that if the player wants to be signed, you need to act. I have never spoken about any sums, I do not know if it is these sums being discussed.”

“Inter are surely trying to sign him, he is an expressly stated objective, but having said that it is not necessarily the case that all objectives are signed. It is always very difficult.”
