Valentino Lazaro bid an emotional farewell to Hertha Berlin’s fans last night before telling them he had moved to Inter to ‘make the next step in my career’.
The midfielder made 57 appearances in two seasons for Pal Dardai’s side and said he had tears in his eyes while writing his message.
“I was able to improve as a player and as a person here and for that I will be eternally grateful to you,” Lazaro told his former club on Instagram.
“I have to give enormous thanks to the supporters too, who always support the club through the good times and the bad.
“Berlin has become a second home for me in this short period of time and I’m sure we’ll see each other again soon.”
