Inter’s young goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio will join Pordenone on a season-long loan, according to FcInterNews.it.

The 21-year-old has played in Serie C for Renate and Novara during the last two seasons, but now he will get a chance to impress in Italy’s second tier.

Di Gregorio’s agent Carlo Alberto Belloni visited Pordenone’s offices yesterday and held talks with Inter’s vice-sporting director Dario Baccin this morning.

The keeper’s loan deal could contain an option to buy – with a subsequent counter-option for the Nerazzurri – depending on how many appearances he makes.

Di Gregorio will travel to Pordenone tomorrow to get a first glimpse of the town where he will be playing this year.

His contract with Inter runs until 2022 and it is not implausible he could be recalled by the club in future years.

Last year the Italian made 32 appearances with Novara, who finished ninth in their regional league before they were knocked out of the playoffs by Arezzo.
