Wanda Nara was asked for patience by Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici when the pair met to discuss Mauro Icardi in Ibiza, according to Sky Sport.

The Bianconeri are the only club who could realistically sign Inter’s former captain this summer, but they have too many forwards on their books at the moment.

Juve must sell some players before they can step up their pursuit for the 26-year-old, who will start preseason training as normal next week.

“Paratici’s message to Wanda was: ‘Ignore any other offers you receive and wait for us, because we’re willing but not yet ready to sign Mauro’,” Emanuele Baiocchini explained.

The meeting is unlikely to change Inter’s transfer strategy, considering Icardi has been on the market ever since he was stripped of the armband in February.

Sky linked Icardi with a move to Napoli last night but it seems Maurito only has eyes for the Old Lady.
