Michele Di Gregorio last night told Inter supporters he still dreams of playing for the Nerazzurri after completing a loan move to Pordenone.

The goalkeeper spent last season on loan with Novara in Serie C but will now get the chance to play in Italy’s second tier for the first time.

Di Gregorio said he couldn’t wait to get started with the newly-promoted club, but added he would not have wanted to leave Inter permanently.

“I’m happy to be moving on loan in the knowledge I will return to Inter,” the 21-year-old told reporters.

“Everything is in place and I’m looking forward to showing what I can do. Let’s hope we have a good season.

“I feel like I develop and become more mature as a player with every season. I’ll pick up more experience this year in a difficult league like Serie B.

“I’ll give it my all and I hope I can do well for Pordenone.”
