Inter have two extra reasons to be hopeful they will sign Nicolò Barella, in addition to the midfielder’s desire to join the Nerazzurri.

La Nuova Sardegna today reported Barella has already reserved a house in Milan, while his wife Federica has given the green light to the couple moving.

Cagliari have all but accepted an offer from Roma for €35 million plus Gregoire Defrel, but the player is not interested in signing for the Giallorossi.

Inter need only discuss the last few details of their own offer with the Rossoblu before they complete a deal for the 22-year-old.

Barella is relaxing on holiday in Sardinia, where he met up with former Cagliari teammates Andrea Cossu and Marco Sau yesterday.

The 22-year-old is staying tight-lipped on the speculation surrounding him but his future should be definitively resolved soon.

Cagliari do not want to drag the story out much longer but they also want Inter to offer more for Barella, given his technical and symbolic importance to the club.
