No official offers have arrived on Inter’s table for winger Ivan Perisic as of yet according to a report from FCInterNews.it.
West Ham made an enquiry about his availability in the past 48 hours but there have been no concrete moves made from any English clubs.
Perisic’s desire to one day play his football in England is well known and it is understood that he will only leave Inter for an English club.
It therefore looks increasingly likely that Perisic could play a part of Antonio Conte’s Inter despite being one of those expected to leave over the Summer a few months back. In fact, Inter met with his agent last week and reiterated this.
Conte wishes to transform Perisic into a left wing back and if successful, this will save Inter from investing in a new left wing back and the funds can instead go towards Inter’s pursuit of Manchester United’s Romelu Lukaku.
Everything ultimately depends on Perisic himself.
