Edin Dzeko remained tight-lipped when asked about his future by Roma supporters this morning, according to TuttoMercatoWeb.

The Bosnian arrived at Villa Stuart to complete a medical ahead of preseason training, which the Giallorossi will begin tomorrow under new boss Paulo Fonseca.

Inter have been in talks for the 33-year-old since the start of the summer, but recent reports have suggested they are still a long way from agreeing a deal.

Roma’s sporting director Gianluca Petrachi told reporters last week the club would wait until they received a satisfactory offer for Dzeko.

Inter began preseason training under Antonio Conte on Monday morning, but Dzeko was not in attendance like the former Juventus and Chelsea boss had hoped.

Conte wanted to replace Mauro Icardi with Dzeko and Romelu Lukaku, but the Nerazzurri’s former captain is the only one present in Lugano.

Inter’s first preseason friendly will take place against the Swiss club on Sunday.
