Inter Midfielder Nainggolan Appeals To Chinese Clubs Due To Indonesian Origins

Radja Nainggolan’s Indonesian origins makes him an attractive proposition to clubs in China, according to Sky Sport.

The midfielder is not part of Antonio Conte’s plans for this season and has been linked with a move to the Super League.

However, the TV station assured there were currently no serious offers on the table for the 30-year-old.

“Nainggolan draws a lot of attention in the Chinese market and was close to moving there from Roma last year,” they explained.

“Something could emerge there, but at the moment the impression is that he has no real interest to consider.”

Nainggolan began preseason training in Switzerland this morning but neither he nor Mauro Icardi are expected to feature in Sunday’s friendly against Lugano.

The Belgian was officially placed on the transfer market by Inter’s chief executive Beppe Marotta yesterday, who joined Conte for the club’s first press conference of the season in Milan.
