Inter’s president Steven Zhang joined the first team at their preseason training camp in Switzerland this afternoon, according to Sky Sport.
Antonio Conte began working with his new players today and will spend the next six days preparing for Sunday’s first friendly against Lugano.
Zhang wants to stay in close contact with the squad as they start preparation for an important campaign both domestically and in Europe.
Inter will fly out to Asia next week where they will face Manchester United and Juventus in the International Champions Cup, before playing Paris Saint-Germain in the International Super Cup.
Valentino Lazaro and Stefano Sensi both completed their first training sessions today after signing from Hertha Berlin and Sassuolo respectively.
Diego Godin will not join up until later in the month due to his participation in the Copa America with Uruguay.
Conte hopes Edin Dzeko, Romelu Lukaku and Nicolo Barella will soon join them on the list of new arrivals.
