Inter could meet Manchester United to discuss a deal for Romelu Lukaku as early as tomorrow, according to Sky Sport.

The Nerazzurri are planning a ‘mission’ to Manchester in order to make progress in negotiations for the Belgian.

Antonio Conte is keen for Lukaku to arrive as quickly as possible with Inter due to fly to Asia next Thursday.

Juventus are also interested in the 26-year-old and this is behind Inter’s decision to accelerate their pursuit.

Mauro Icardi has not been sold yet and it was widely thought Inter could not sign Lukaku until they had offloaded their former captain.

However, Inter seem determined to press on regardless and will seek an agreement with United that circumnavigates the problem.

Lukaku is in Australia with United as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side continue preparation for the 2019-20 season.

The forward would like to be playing for Inter when they face United in Singapore on 20 July, though.
