Inter officially completed the sale of striker Rey Manaj to Spanish side Albacete for €2.5 million today.

Manaj scored seven goals in 30 Segunda Division appearances last season, helping Luis Miguel Ramis to finish fourth and reach the play-off semi-finals.

The Albanian’s loan deal included an option to buy and Albacete earlier confirmed they had exercised it, making the signing permanent.

“We’re very happy about this signing,” sporting director Mauro Perez told the club’s website.

“Manaj is a young player and we’ve been following him for a long time. He’s giving us joy in the present and we know he’ll give us even more joy in the future.”

Manaj has signed a five-year deal and leaves Inter for good after playing just six games for the first team.

Roberto Mancini gave the forward his full debut against Cagliari in December 2015, along with five cameo appearances between Serie A and the Coppa Italia.
