Inter’s former striker Christian Vieri is confident the Nerazzurri will battle Juventus for this year’s Serie A title until the bitter end.
Antonio Conte has made no bones about his desire to win trophies in Milan, having been appointed Inter’s new head coach on a three-year deal in May.
Vieri also played for the Bianconeri during his illustrious career and does not think Juve will have life as easy as last season.
“Juventus will win the Scudetto again this year,” Bobo told La Stampa this morning.
“However, Inter have strengthened a lot and they’ve appointed a great coach. I think they’ll cause Juventus problems right until the end.”
Vieri scored 123 goals in 190 appearances for Inter in all competitions, but he only won one Coppa Italia title during his six-year spell at the club.
Conte will take charge of his first preseason friendly on Sunday when Inter play Lugano at the Stadio Cornaredo.
