For the time being, Inter and Manchester United are only discussing the transfer of Romelu Lukaku and not any other players according to a report from Tuttosport.

Inter have been linked with a move for Matteo Darmian but the Turin based newspaper stress that the clubs will only discuss the Italian defender if Dalbert is to leave the club.

Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio, who last met with United on Thursday, wished to avoid confusion and therefore only focused on Lukaku in his talks with United’s leadership.

Darmian, who has just a year left to run on his current contract at Old Trafford, is clearly not in manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s plans and has only been pushed further down the pecking order following the arrival of Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

French club Lyon have shown a strong interest in signing Dalbert, who has failed to live up to expectations since his 2017 transfer to Inter from Nice.
