According to the latest reports from Tuttosport, Antonio Conte’s squad will be reinforced by two more players ahead of their trip to Asia this week.

Indeed, Alessandro Bastoni, who spent last season on loan at Parma, is a player Conte absolutely wants to have at his disposal as he is the only left-sided central defender at the club. In that sense, he is a crucial player as the new coach looks to implement his preferred three-man defence following two seasons which were largely defined by Luciano Spalletti’s use of a 4-2-3-1 formation.

It is also expected that Federico Dimarco will join up with the squad, having spent last season with Parma alongside Bastoni. However, his presence is far from certain as Inter may prefer to leave him at home in Italy given the fact he seems destined to be transferred elsewhere, either on loan or on a permanent basis. Only time will tell.
