As things stand, Inter seem to be the only possible suitor for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic within Italy according to a report from Corriere della Sera.
The Serbian midfielder’s agent Mateja Kezman has been working on trying to find him a new club for the best part of a year now but has so far been unsuccessful in his efforts. This could perhaps even lead the player to change agents to try and get his move away.
Kezman has met with Juventus on several occasions and has even got a deal agreed in principle over personal terms but the Bianconeri have just signed Adrien Rabiot on a free transfer which as good as rules them out of making a move this Summer.
The report goes on to state that Andrea Agnelli would only allocate further transfer funds for one player and those funds would be for Manchester United’s Paul Pogba, rather than Milinkovic-Savic.
Therefore, Inter are the only club who could possibly sign Milinkovic-Savic this Summer but they are currently committed to sorting out the attack first.
Milinkovic-Savic’s desire to play elsewhere is growing but Lazio’s €100 million demands for him could put clubs off and ultimatately leave him stuck in the Italian capital.
