Inter new boy Stefano Sensi has shared his delight following Inter’s 2-1 friendly victory over Swiss side Lugano yesterday.

“We put in a good performance and it was not easy as our opponents were organised. We are satisfied because we tried to display the manager’s ideas out on the pitch,” he told Inter TV.

“We tried to play with the intensity that we will play at during the season. We have to stay focused. We will try to have a good season.”

The Italian international then spoke on the effect that playing under Antonio Conte has had on him since his arrival.

“Personally speaking, Conte has been a great motivation for me. He is a coach who wants to win, which helps you to be comfortable on the park.

“This kind of motivation is what leads to me giving my best day after day. Now we are meantally preparing ourselves for the tour where we will face some strong teams.
