Juventus are waiting for the right time to make their move for Inter outcast Mauro Icardi according to a report from Tuttosport.
The Argentine striker has been told in no uncertain terms that he is no longer deemed as part of the club’s project by club officials and is expected to leave the club over the course of the Summer transfer window.
The Bianconeri are understood to be strongly interested in signing the 26-year-old from their arch-rivals but before making a move, the Turin based news outlet stats that they need to sell a few attacking players on to make room for Icardi.
As per some reports, Icardi has already got an agreement in principle with the Allianz Stadium outfit over personal terms meaning Juventus will just need to strike a deal with Inter.
The report also reminds that Icardi’s €110 million release clause expires at the end of today, not that it means all that much in the grand scheme of things due to the fact Icardi’s value has seriously depreciated in recent months.
