Juventus Need To Make Sales Before Making Move For Inter’s Icardi

Gonzalo Higuain and Mario Mandzukic both have to leave Juventus if the Bianconeri are to make a move for Inter striker Mauro Icardi according to a report from Gazzetta dello Sport.

If the Argentine and Croatian are to be moved on during the course of the Summer transfer window, the funds will be there for Juventus to invest in the 26-year-old, who has been told he has no future at Inter by club bosses.

The report from the Milan based news outlet does however state that this transfer window may not be the right time for all of this to happen.

Icardi still has two years left to run on his contract with Inter and the €110 million release clause in his contract is due to expire at the end of today.

This past season the Argentine made 37 appearances across all competitions. In just shy of 3000 minutes, he netted 17 goals and provided five assists.
