Inter are seemingly closing in on the signing of Brazilian midfielder Jailson from Turkish Super Lig giants Fenerbahce according to several reports currently circulating in the Turkish media.

The Nerazzurri are reportedly due to meet with Fenerbahce officials in Istanbul tomorrow to hold further talks over the 23-year-old, who is primarily a defensive midfielder but also capable of playing as a traditional central midfielder.

Inter are ready to make a €10 million offer for the former Gremio player, who only joined Fenerbahce back in August.

The Turkish side, who finished sixth this past season, are holding out for €12 million but the player’s strong desire to play for a team in the Champions League can not be underestimated and could well make the difference.

In his debut season with the Ülker Stadium outfit, he made 28 appearances across all competitions. In 2112 minutes on the field, he notched two goals and provided one assist.
