Beppe Marotta and Piero Ausilio will stay in Italy until Sunday before jetting off for Inter’s preseason tour in Asia, according to Corriere dello Sport.

The first team flew out to Singapore with Antonio Conte yesterday as they prepared for Saturday’s first prestige fixture against Manchester United.

Marotta and Ausilio have stayed behind to continue transfer business, however, and will not join up with Conte and his players until they move to Nanjing at the weekend.

Talks for Romelu Lukaku could enter a decisive phase soon while Edin Dzeko remains another important target in attack.

Inter’s squad is not due to pay a visit to Suning’s headquarters in Nanjing when they fly there to play Juventus in the International Champions Cup.

Suning owner Zhang Jindong is almost certain to attend the match itself, though, which takes place next Wednesday at 13:30 CET.

Alessandro Antonello and Inter’s head of marketing Luca Danovaro were also aboard the plane taking the players to Singapore yesterday, and they will use the next week to strike up fresh sponsorship deals.

Inter have brought almost every member of staff who speaks Chinese with them, in an attempt to facilitate the various corporate events they will fulfill in Singapore, Nanjing and Macau.
