Inter will soon make Manchester United a new offer for Romelu Lukaku which could rise to €75 million, according to Tuttosport.

The Nerazzurri are aware the striker is worth €60 million to United at the moment, taking amortisation into account, and will offer that exact fee plus €15 million in bonuses.

Beppe Marotta and Piero Ausilio have not travelled to Singapore with the first team because they are staying to work on the offer they will present to United.

Antonio Conte is desperate to start working with Lukaku as soon as possible and it has convinced Inter to push ahead in talks without selling Mauro Icardi first.

Tuttosport assured ‘any day could be good’ for the next formal contact between the clubs, after Ausilio went to London to meet United officials last week.

United want more than the £79 million they paid to sign Lukaku from Everton in 2017 – almost €88 million – but it is ‘unthinkable’ Inter could reach that fee.

“This offer could represent a good starting point to reach an agreement in short order, though,” Tuttosport concluded.
