Mauro Icardi will wait another three weeks for Juventus to make him an offer before considering a move to Napoli, according to Sport Mediaset.

The Bianconeri have not made either official or unofficial contact with Inter so far, safe in the knowledge Icardi’s price tag is dropping with each day that passes.

However, if they do not make their move before 10 August Icardi will stop giving them priority and begin talks with the Partneopei.

Aurelio De Laurentiis is willing to offer Inter €60 million and give Icardi a salary worth €7.5 million per season, which could rise to €10 million with bonuses.

Icardi has been excluded from Inter’s preseason tour in Asia and will train alone at Appiano Gentile until Antonio Conte’s side return.

The 26-year-old could even stay under contract with Inter and spend the next two years in the stands, but it remains extremely difficult to imagine that happening.

Juventus remain the favourites to sign the Argentine but Napoli have not given up and will stay alert until they have no chance.
