Radja Nainggolan is determined to persuade Antonio Conte to give him a second chance at Inter during the Nerazzurri’s Asian tour, according to Corriere della Sera.
The midfielder was left out of Sunday’s preseason opener against Lugano but flew to Singapore with the rest of the first team on Tuesday.
Nainggolan’s inclusion in Conte’s squad confirms he is being treated differently to Mauro Icardi, who was left at home and has no chance of re-entering the squad.
“Radja’s work rate during training has been exemplary and Conte appears to have taken notice,” the paper reported.
“He’s on good terms with all his Inter teammates and if he kept up this commitment, who knows if Conte might give him a chance in Saturday’s match against United.”
Nainggolan is battling personal problems as well as those on the pitch this summer, with wife Claudia last week revealing she had cancer.
The Ninja has continued to work hard in training despite everything, though, and is willing to fight for his Inter career.
