Inter’s former academy talent Andrea Palazzi could return to Serie B this season with Benevento and Frosinone interested in the midfielder, according to FcInterNews.it.

The 23-year-old spent the first half of the 2018-19 campaign on loan at Pescara in the second tier, before moving to Serie C side Monza in January.

Palazzi has the option to spend another season with the Biancorossi but he wants to consider all offers before making a final decision.

Talks are entering a decisive phase with Inter hoping to finalise a move before the end of July.

Palazzi made 25 appearances in all competitions for Monza last year, scoring on his league debut against Virtus Verona.

The midfielder found the net three times in total and helped Cristian Brocchi’s side finish fifth in Group B, before they were beaten by Imolese in the play-offs.

Palazzi only has two years left on his deal with Inter but the club seem willing to loan him out again nevertheless.

He has also had spells on loan with Livorno and Pro Vercelli since leaving Inter’s youth system in 2015.
