Mauro Icardi is still not interested in considering a move to Napoli, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.

The Inter striker has no future at the club and is training alone at Appiano Gentile this week, as Antonio Conte’s side begin a two-week tour in Asia.

Napoli would be willing to satisfy Icardi’s demands in terms of wages, despite recent denials from Aurelio De Laurentiis in public.

It seems Maurito is proving very difficult to convince however, perhaps because he still prefers the idea of joining Juventus.

Napoli will keep monitoring the situation regarding Icardi but in the meantime they have begun talks for Lille forward Nicolas Pepe.

The Senegalese international would rather move to the Premier League than come to Italy, but Lille like Adam Ounas and this could facilitate a deal.

Inter would like to resolve Icardi’s future as quickly as possible, but this transfer saga appears destined to carry on for a few more weeks yet.
