Inter today announced a new corporate partnership with cyber protection company Acronis.

Acronis are global leaders in their industry and were described as ‘a top provider for international sports teams’ in a statement on the Nerazzurri’s website.

Alessandro Antonello celebrated the deal at the company’s headquarters in Singapore, with Samir Handanovic and Tommaso Berni also in attendance.

“It’s great having an industry expert like Acronis with such a strong presence and expertise in data-driven sports,” Inter’s CEO corporate said.

“We have very high hopes for this technological partnership to help Inter advance even further, shape it to fit the modern high standards of international sports and also prepare for the future.”

Acronis’ founder and CEO Serguei Beloussov added: “Inter has a century-long history, yet it takes full advantage of the modern innovations, specifically in cyber protection.

“Realising that data is the most valuable resource today and needs advanced protection is what makes Inter’s vision so similar to ours – and that’s where Acronis can lend a hand with our existing solutions.”
