Inter could revive their interest for Arturo Vidal if they manage to sell Radja Nainggolan this summer, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

Nainggolan has been included in Antonio Conte’s squad for the Nerazzurri’s preseason tour in Asia, but the midfielder remains on the market.

No offers have arrived for the Belgian yet but Conte would need a player with similar qualities if he did depart.

Vidal worked with Conte while at Juventus and would fit Inter’s profile of a physically strong midfielder with experience and a knack of scoring goals.

Beppe Marotta and Piero Ausilio are working hard to find new destinations both for Nainggolan and Mauro Icardi.

Inter do not have strong interest for either player, though, making it much harder for the club to secure new signings.

Nainggolan scored seven goals in a difficult debut campaign last year, including one which secured Champions League qualification on the final day of the Serie A season.

Vidal made 53 appearances for Barcelona as they secured another La Liga title and reached the Champions League semi-finals, scoring three times and providing seven assists.
