Torino have offered to sign Inter full-back Federico Dimarco on loan with an option to buy, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.

The Granata made a timid approach for the Italy under-21 international last month, but talks did not make any significant progress.

Urbano Cairo has revived his interest for Dimarco this week, though, as he seeks reinforcements on the wing for Walter Mazzarri.

Inter are open to the formula Torino have offered and the clubs could agree a deal as early as next week.

Dimarco made 13 appearances while on loan for Parma last season, as the Ducali secured their Serie A status on the penultimate weekend.

The 21-year-old’s finest hour came when he scored the winning goal against Inter themselves at San Siro, plunging Luciano Spalletti’s side into crisis at the start of the year.

Dimarco has not been included in Antonio Conte’s squad for Inter’s preseason tour in Asia, suggesting a move away from the club is imminent.
