Javier Zanetti’s early arrival into Beijing airport on Friday did not deter Inter supporters from coming out in their masses for Pupi.

The Nerazzurri’s vice-president flew into the Chinese capital to assist the club on their preseason tour in Asia, which began with a 1-0 defeat against Manchester United yesterday.

“5.30am in Beijing: thank you to our always extraordinary supporters for waiting for me at the airport,” Zanetti wrote on Instagram.

“I’m here and ready to meet our summer tour sponsor Changan.”
