Beppe Marotta and Piero Ausilio flew out to China this morning to join up with Antonio Conte and Inter’s first team, according to Corriere dello Sport.

The pair will land in Nanjing later today before holding a transfer summit with Conte, Steven Zhang and Suning owner Zhang Jindong tomorrow.

Conte criticised the club’s lack of transfer activity on Friday and will want answers from his employers when they discuss negotiations for Romelu Lukaku.

Inter will take a five-hour flight from Singapore in the afternoon and hope to complete a training session in Nanjing upon their arrival, providing the weather is not too hot.

Conte’s side slipped to their first defeat of preseason yesterday as Mason Greenwood’s late striker secured a 1-0 victory for Manchester United.

Juventus will provide their next International Champions Cup opposition before Paris Saint-Germain play the Nerazzurri in the International Super Cup next weekend.

Suning’s minority shareholders LionRock Capital were at the stadium in Singapore on Saturday as Inter turned in a flat performance on their Asian debut.
