Inter will throw their full weight behind finding buyers for Mauro Icardi and Radja Nainggolan after holding a transfer summit in China, according to Sky Sport.
The Nerazzurri’s management met with Antonio Conte and Suning owner Zhang Jindong in Nanjing, ahead of Wednesday’s International Champions Cup clash with Juventus.
Edin Dzeko and Romelu Lukaku remain the only two targets in attack for now, with Beppe Marotta eager to sign one experienced player and one forward who is slightly younger.
Inter cannot meet Manchester United’s asking price for Lukaku unless they sell at least one between Icardi and Nainggolan first, though.
Lukaku has made no secret of his desire to join Inter and is considered the signing that would take Conte’s side to the next level.
However, United are driving a hard bargain for the moment and will have to be given a much higher offer than the last one they rejected.
Icardi is training alone at Appiano Gentile this week after Conte excluded him from Inter’s preseason tour of Asia.
Nainggolan did get the chance to fly out to Singapore with the first team, but he too remains out in the cold.
Conte confirmed neither player were part of his plans on Friday and this has probably not helped Inter in their bid to offload them quickly.
