Ivan Perisic hopes to secure a long overdue move to the Premier League as the Inter midfielder nears the exit door, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
Perisic, Radja Nainggolan and Mauro Icardi are all likely to leave the Nerazzurri as Antonio Conte revamps his squad for the new season.
Inter slapped a €50 million price tag on the Croatian in 2018 when Manchester United came knocking for Perisic.
The 30-year-old’s value has since dropped to €30 million, though, following a disappointing campaign and a public rejection from Conte at the weekend.
Perisic seemed destined to become a left wing-back in Conte’s 3-5-2 system after reports claimed he had started preseason training positively.
But Conte only played him as a second striker in the defeat to United in Singapore, bringing him on at half-time to replace Samuele Longo.
The former Juventus and Chelsea boss no longer seems to believe Perisic can be converted to play in a new position, leading to his firm comments in the post-match press conference.
Perisic scored nine goals and created eight assists last year as Inter finished fourth in Serie A again.
