Inter manager Antonio Conte is continuing to push Inter leadership toward signing Barcelona midfielder Arturo Vidal according to a report from Tuttosport.
Despite two midfielders already being added in the shape of Stefano Sensi and Nicolo Barella, Conte is still hoping for at least one more addition in the middle of the park to make up for the expected sales.
Radja Nainggolan is up for sale whilst Borja Valero and Joao Mario’s days at the Nerazzurri also look set to come to an end over the course of the Summer.
Vidal is a player Conte is particularly fond of having worked previously with him at Juventus and is very much a Conte player in terms of his playing style.
The 33-year-old Chilean still has two years left to run on his contract with the Blaugrana, who he made 53 appearances for this past season in which he scored three goals and provided seven assists.
The report from the Turin based paper concludes that it is currently impossible to rule out a surprise name being signed.
