AS Roma’s Bosnian international striker Edin Dzeko will soon become an Inter player, at least according to the Bosnian national coach team manager Robert Prosinecki.

Prosinecki spoke exclusively with Italian media outlet PassioneInter.com, and revealed that the striker often talks about the Nerazzurri and that a deal will be wrapped up soon.

“We have spoken many timed about Inter, him and I. Aldo, not so long ago, we spoke about his situation and his transfer to Inter. Without taking anything away from Roma, who are a great club but surely now he has a bigger chance of achieving bigger objectives than he could when at Roma. His age is good as in he can play at the highest level for another 2-3 years.”

“Conte told me that he is one of the strikers that he wants and he will surely have great success with the Nerazzurri. We speak very often about Inter and his current situation.”

“In my opinion he is surely, still today, one of the best strikers in the world. I am very happy that he will go to a club where he has a bigger chance of winning titles. Inter is a big team with a coach like Conte.”

“He is one of the best strikers I have ever seen and I am not saying this because he plays for Bosnia who I coach but because I have thought this for as long as I have followed him. He has done great things everywhere he has played, from Roma to Wolfsburg to Manchester City, he has always scored a lot of goals and shown great class.”

“I think that this is a big chance for him, to play in an even bigger team, both in Italy as well as at an European level. If one listens to what he says, then in the end the deal will be completed and he will be very happy at Inter.”

“Surely Lukaku and Lautaro are great players but there are a lot of matches during the course of a season, between the Serie A, Champions League and the Coppa Italia. Everyone will get their chance to play.”

“Conte will see in every moment who is the best player to play, but I am sure that he will play quite a bit and have his say. Or why not, maybe he can play together with either Lautaro or Lukaku.”
