Inter will look to wrap up the signing of Edin Dzeko from Roma possibly as early as next week according to a report from Corriere della Sera.
Roma continue to demand €20 million for the Bosnian striker but Inter’s leadership are confident that they can acquire the 33-year-old for less.
The report also touches upon Inter’s pursuit of Romelu Lukaku. The Nerazzurri’s most recent offer was of €65 million and they will make one last offer of €70 million. If rejected, they will turn their attention elsewhere.
Rafael Leao could in fact be the player Inter turn to if unable to get Lukaku on board. The Portuguese youngster is valued at €40 million by current employers Lille.
The report concludes by looking at the futures of Mauro Icardi and Radja Nainggolan, both of whom have been told they have no future with the club.
Starting with Icardi, the 26-year-old’s sale could open things up for Inter on the transfer market. Napoli are showing a keen interest in signing him and he is more open to a move to Napoli now than he was previously. A move to Juventus will only be possible should the Bianconeri be willing to give Paulo Dybala in return.
As for the Belgian, Inter are yet to receieve any offers for him. As per other reports, they are open to loaning the former Roma man out so long as the club receive €9 million for the loan.
