Inter are expected to get closer to the signing of Roma striker Edin Dzeko over the coming weekend according to a report from Tuttosport.
The Nerazzurri have been in talks with their Giallorossi counterparts for some time now over the veteran Bosnian striker but the clubs still have some distance to make up in negotiations.
Inter could raise their most recent offer of €12 million to €15 million plus bonuses for the 33-year-old, who Roma are understood to value at €20 million.
The report from the Turin based news outlet goes on to detail that Inter could still make another move for Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku too but warn that Inter must keep an alternative in mind.
The alternative could well be Lille starlet Rafael Leao. The 20-year-old Portugese forward is valued at around €35-40 million and while not the complete article at the moment, he is certainly a player worth taking a chance on.
